    Tzvetanka Mintcheva

    Tzvetanka Mintcheva began her career at UniCredit in Bulgaria as an intern in 2001. Over the years, she has held various sales and management positions and completed an MBA program in International Business at MIB School of Management in Italy.

    Since 2007, Tzvetanka has been involved in the coordination and development of alternative distribution channels, being recognized for her significant contribution and the introduction of innovations. Since 2013, she has been the Director of Retail Banking and a member of the Management Board. In 2017, Tzvetanka became the Director of Global Banking, successfully implementing numerous strategic and transformational projects. Between 2020 and 2021, she held the position of Deputy CEO of UniCredit Bank Romania. Since September 2021, she has been the CEO and Chairwoman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank. In 2022, she was elected Deputy Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria.

    In 2023 she was announced as “Manager of the Year 2023” at the 16th edition of the competition for top management achievements.

    Ivan Chernov

    Ivan Chernov is the Global Lean Production Director at Melexis, a position he has held since 2019. He is responsible for the 5 production plants of the company across Europe and Asia (Belgium, France, Germany, Bulgaria and Malaysia). He has over 12 years of leadership experience in different management positions with a main focus on people, culture and organizational development. Ivan is a certified professional coach by the ICF, has a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Management.

    Kristina Georgieva, Vice President of Operations at TELUS Digital, oversees operational and customer excellence across Bulgaria, France, Ireland and Türkiye. With over 18 years of experience in the digital and business services industry, she started on the frontlines, gaining deep insights into operational challenges and client needs. Today, she leads over 5,000 professionals, managing operations for 50 global brands across Europe and driving success in Hightech, Fintech, E-commerce, Travel & Hospitality, and Trust & Safety. Kristina fosters a collaborative culture, empowering teams while streamlining processes to enhance alignment, efficiency, and service quality locally and globally.

    Kalin Dobrev

    Kalin Dobrev has been part of the large Festo family in Bulgaria for more than 20 years.
    Since 2023, he has been taking over the management of both companies Festo Production EOOD and Festo EOOD.
    Previously, he was the CEO and member of the board of directors of Oberthur Fiduciaire – a joint venture between the French Oberthur Fiduciaire and the Bulgarian National Bank, which deals with security seals.
    In fact, his professional career took place at Festo Production, where in 2001 he started working as an assembler and went through various expert and management positions, while significantly contributing to the development of the Lean culture in the company.
    Kalin Dobrev graduated in “Polymer Engineering” at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia and “Business Administration” at the University of Vienna.
    In the period from 2019 to 2022, he headed the largest operational department in the company – “Electronics and Drives”.

    Fabrice Bernhard

    Fabrice Bernhard is the co-author of The Lean Tech Manifesto and the co-founder of Theodo, a tech consultancy he scaled with Benoît Charles-Lavauzelle from 10 to 700 people in 10 years.
    Based in New York, London, Paris, and Casablanca, Theodo uses Lean Tech to build transformational tech products for clients all over the world, including global companies—such as VF Corporation, Raytheon Technologies, SMBC, Biogen, Colas, Tarkett, Dior, Safran, BNP Paribas, Allianz, and SG—and leading tech scale-ups—such as ContentSquare, ManoMano, and Qonto.
    Recently he has been back in the coding trenches to experiment first-hand how AI is revolutionising legacy IT.
    Fabrice has shared his Lean Tech and AI modernisation expertise at various conferences, including CraftConf, DevopsDays and Lean Summits.

    Ulrich Guddat, PhD

    Dr. Ulrich Guddat is an engineer and business economist with over 20 years of experience in management roles. Since July 2023, he has served as the Managing Director at Strategy Engineers, where he has been a partner since 2020. His expertise spans strategic planning, innovation, and operations within the automotive industry. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director at Peek & Cloppenburg starting in 2014 and spent 11 years as a Partner at Porsche Consulting. He began his career as an R&D engineer at Daimler AG.

    Mira Ganova, PhD

    Mira Ganova is an expert in the field of digital healthcare and executive director of the Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria. He has a PhD in the field of organization, management and business communications. He has a master’s degree in public relations and health management. Her professional career began 15 years ago, during which time she worked in the field of communications and management activities in the fields of marketing and advertising, energy and healthcare. In 2017, he held the position of director of the Public Relations of the Bulgarian Medical Union, and since the end of 2018 he has been the executive director of the Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria. In her capacity as director of the Cluster, she stimulates joint efforts to develop health technologies and the potential of the digital health industry in Bulgaria, with the aim of sustainability and efficiency of the sector, improving the quality of health care and patient outcomes, and stimulating innovation in the healthcare ecosystem.

    Tommy Ver Elst has been General Manager of Sensata Technologies in Bulgaria since 2011. He entered the Bulgarian organization as Operations Manager in 2009. He is alsoRegional Operations Lead for the Europe region. He has 20+ years of experience in multi-site operations in a fast-growing international business environment, developing management structures and teams that strive to be the partner, neighbour and employer of choice. Member of Board of Directors of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (ACB) and Member of Board of Directors of AmCham. Master’s degree in Finance & Economics from University of Hasselt, Belgium.

    Mario Bakalov

    Mario Bakalov is one of the most distinguished Bulgarian pilots with international recognition. On October 16, 2016, he made his mark in Bulgaria’s aviation history by landing the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, in Sofia for the first time.

    Since late 2022, Mario has been flying the Airbus A320 and continues to be the only Bulgarian captain at Germany’s largest airline.

    In addition to his extensive aviation experience, he is a highly regarded international speaker, a long-standing human factors instructor, and an active participant in various initiatives aimed at advancing both society and business.

    Vasil Petrov

    Vasil Petrov is a management consultant with over 12 years spent in implementation of business process improvement methods and practices across leading companies from different industries in Europe, Asia and USA.
    His experience includes lean thinking and practices implementation (lean transformations), Six Sigma, Change Management, Business Analysis, Current State Assessments, Automation of Processes (incl. RPA), PMO setup, Project Management, Strategic Planning and Supply Chain Optimization.

    In 2014 Vasil starts Lean Institute Bulgaria, which soon becomes a market leader in training and consulting services related to lean transformations, improvements and process automation.

    Vasil is certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He has gained an MBA degree from an international program in Germany, Australia and India and speaks English, German and Russian.

    Georgi Nenov

    Host

    Georgi Nenov is the host of the popular podcast The Superhuman with Georgi Nenov, which shares inspiring stories of remarkable individuals every Tuesday.
    With the knowledge and insights gained from these stories, he personally engages with young people across Bulgaria, delivering lectures at numerous educational institutions for students and pupils.
    Georgi is an experienced event host and speaker, having worked with companies such as MAN Group, Klett Bulgaria, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, MARS, Beiersdorf, Unicredit Bulbank, Lidl Bulgaria, IBM, and Experian.
    In every appearance, he captivates his audience by sharing his personal experiences and the lessons learned from his encounters with successful individuals. His mission is to inspire people to recognize and overcome their own limitations, develop their skills, and take bold action toward achieving personal and professional success.
